After much musing and mulling and a little convincing, I have decided to blog. I have actually tried to start blogging in the past, but have always gotten frustrated with the process.
...should I give some background about myself?
...shoud I give a lot of background?
...how far back should the background go?
Like everyone else who blogs, I guess I need a way to vent and ramble. I liken it to having a best friend's shoulder to cry on, but without the tissues or coffee pot (or bottle of wine, or shots of tequila - depending on the fucked-up-ed-ness of the situation).
I was thinking "blog" is such a stupid word. What computer geek started this whole idea? "Web log" turned into blog. Could have been "online diary", "web rambling", "web diary", "internet diary"... Then you'd have ondi, webram, webary, intry. Any of them don't sound quite as dumb as blog. I kinda like webram. Whatever.
Next up, background. Ugh.
